Jeff’s favorite thing about skiing is sharing an amazing line with others. “Whether it is through the experience of climbing a mountain, sliding down a rope into free space, kicking a step into a steep snow slope, swinging an axe into ice, or skiing through boot-top powder with a beautiful valley laying at your feet, it is the smile that my guest is wearing that makes it all worthwhile,” he says.
An avid skier for most of his life, Jeff has done some impressive descents including Mont Blanc’s classic North Face route from the summit; the North Face of the Tour Noire; and the Marinelli Couloir on the east face of Monte Rosa, to name a few. He’s also completed many classic ski mountaineering lines across the US and Canada.
As a climber, Jeff has summited Everest, Fitzroy, the North Face of the Eiger and Denali’s Cassin Ridge. He received his IFMGA license in 2016 and is based in the Chamonix valley of the western Alps.
Jeff is also an avid adventure motorcyclist, having ridden as far north as Pruhdoe Bay and as far south as the Panama Canal, around Europe, through India, Thailand and Nepal. His next challenge is to complete the seven summits (only three to go!), and circumnavigate the globe by motorcycle.
