Tim began his career as a Mountain Guide in Jackson Hole, Wyoming with North America’s original guiding service — Exum Mountain Guides. After many years of full-time guiding, Tim now works primarily in affordable housing development while keeping a limited calendar of trips with select clients.

As an internationally certified AMGA/IFMGA/UIAGM Mountain Guide, Tim guides skiers and climbers throughout North America and the Alps. He’s also worked on several ski film productions, consulting, guiding, and providing avalanche safety and risk management training for athletes and production crew. Tim’s work in Avalanche Education also includes teaching courses for the American Avalanche Institute, as well as contributing to the online Mountain Sense Avalanche Safety Course. 

In addition to skiing, snowboarding and climbing, Tim enjoys trail running, mountain biking, and enjoying great food with great company.
